August 5, 200520 yr Damn that bird must have been huge. What did it hit exactly? The left wing? oh well, more money is wasted on people playing sports for several millions of dollars for just a year.
August 5, 200520 yr Sounds to me like the engine. Talking about flame outs, and was on landing approach so may not have had enough power to make a missed approach on one engine? oh well, more money is wasted on people playing sports for several millions of dollars for just a year. Maybe so, but we voluntarily pay for that... TFD
August 5, 200520 yr I bet its some sorta robot bird and (Insert country here) used it to knockdown the plane!

August 5, 200520 yr Yes, if you'd read my post again, I quoted his sports related remark, and then followed with my comments on that... TFD
August 5, 200520 yr There is for that here, there is a "scaryer of birds" near the track fields with a shotgun for to fear & fly away the local birds before the planes takeoff or landing. Egidio.
August 5, 200520 yr no he was talking about the sport guys gettin like 7 mill a year just for playing hockey, when I would do it just for free. Don't let the NHL onto that... with the new changes and stuff...
August 5, 200520 yr In france, I see a document with (death) "kip" launched in the reactors of the Airbus A380 for to test the resistant of the engines.... Solution: make kips less robust... Egidio.
August 5, 200520 yr wow, i didnt know a bird could do that! Yes, they can do it, also broken the cokpit's glass on the little plane like the movie with the red pipper plane...Egidio.
August 5, 200520 yr Heh, Back when I was a kid at Ramstein and Lahr AFBs, they had a "Hunter" rotation where personell were aloud to take turns to go out and shoot up Pheasants. Win win sitution, the air field stays clear, and people had something nice to bring home to the family.
