Source SDK issues...

Featured Replies

I installed sdk and waited the 20 minutes for it to install and I got this message:

Any ideas on how I can fix that? I tried deleting my clientregistry.blob and uninstalling the source:sdk twice. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Umm, that's why I posted the problem here. I have no clue why it doesn't resize the "cache" file.

I just reinstalled steam and it is still happening... I signed up on the steam forums, but you can't post until an admin gives you authorization.

Looks like a memory address.

How about a different video driver.

Nope, I had to deinstall hl2 and steam then reinstall now it works

That would explain the memory address/system numbers.

I should have had you scandisc and defrag. That might have fixed it.

Heh, I format once a month so shouldn't have been a defrag issue

At least you got it working. That is what matters most.

Whatever game you're attempting to mod, just go in it, then quit.
