August 26, 200520 yr you DO realize that 1 full movie is more than 1 gb, right? unless it is a really small movie. and 1 gb is about 150-200 mp3s. and I mean cost for all the hardware, not games included. like all the hardware cost that it will be after you get the storage.

You buy the UMDs
August 26, 200520 yr PSP movies probably don't have to be high resolution either, so I doubt the movies would be over 1 gig. Movie files that are more than 1 gig in size are usually seen at DVD quality and at higher resolutions. I could be wrong though.

Ok, so you can have music on it...if you buy the upgrades....why not get an mp3 player. I got one that holds 20 gb and plays videos for $220. Ok so it can connect to the internet....so can most cell phones or PDA's or whatever. but whatever....im just sayin it isnt really that good a deal unless you just want a good handheld gaming system (from what I have seen the graphics are excellent for PSP compared to other handhelds) PS: I still have my old big block gameboy...3 in fact. 1 gray, 1 red, and 1 see-through! I used to play Wario on it

I used to play Wario on it Waste of money unless you wanted it just for games?It combines all those things, the cellphone browsing, mp3 player, PDA, etc. into 1 extremly slick, portable device (with a nice big screen, something the others don't have). And it costs LESS than what you would pay to buy all those other things seperatly. It's an amazing deal, you definatly get what you pay for
August 27, 200520 yr Well, if you already had those other things, it would be a waste to buy the PSP. But it's true, Sony was not selling the PSPs at a profit, so it is a deal. Now, the extras might get you, though.
