Hello all,

 

I am nearing the next rank and have narrowed my choices down to three PKM, DAO-12, or the M95. I am not sure what to go with, so anyone with experience with these weapons, please help me make a decision

wut class do u play the most? latley ive been seeing u as AT. but ive only unlocked the m95 and its kinda a waste..unless u want to take out guys in helos. also if u want a gun with more punch on the MEC/PLA side u could use the m95. i guess in short the m95 isnt wut its cracked up to be.

un less ur me picking off guys from up high.

the m24 does that jpb well ifrit. it just the MEC/PLA side has a weapon that fires faster but does less damage. also the m24 is way more accurate imo. head shots are more frequent with the m24. but it all depends on ur playing style. if u rush with the sniper kit, the MEC rifle does the job well. if u like to lay back and put down accurate sniper fire from afar then the m24 does the job. the m95 is pretty accurate and does damage but isnt as great as the m24. i would pick the m95 if u play MEC/PLA alot and use the sniper kit alot

PKM is wonderfull, it pwns all exept for guys with 203/gp30 etc

The only problem is it's accuracy and firerate, i mean like the US support gun fires a lot faster so on a moving target that's good to have.

 

OH and pkm can do damage to choppers

DAO - This was my first unlock, wow it was damn fun to play with. I used to get a LOT of damn kills with this shotgun.

 

PKM - I got to pick this up once. I then died 5 seconds later :|

 

M95 - Got to play with this SR for a bit too, got a bunch of kills with it. It's good, but it's not as accurate as the m24, but it's more powerful.

 

So I'd either chose the DAO or the M95, I've heard things about the PKM and it didn't sound too good.

there is a reason why the pkm is on almost all the vehicles

id definitly say get PKM. better than the Chinese and MEC MG anyday. however, youve probably unlocked the G36C right? so thats out of the question...hmm. id say DAO or PKM. your pick, depending on which youll use more.

My unlocks have went like this

 

1st - L85

2nd - G36C

3rd - PKM (when I get this unlock). I am within about 4k points right now.

heres what i did

 

1st: l85a1

2nd: pkm

3rd: ???

 

im about 3500 points away and im not really sure what to get. im happy with what i chose. i dont want the dao because i dont play at enough and im not getting the engineer class. i was thinking about m95, but everyone seems to hate it.

im probably going to unlock G36 or DAO next because of the fact that the medic guns work fine. but i dont really like the AT guns so im leaning toward DAO for when i need it. see i think like this: "which will be more useful when the time comes?"

i did pkm first,and i like it but it's really only good upclose to mid range.i have lots of trouble hitting people far away.but it does do damage to tanks/choppers .i have no idea how the others work.

basically, if you're on the US side, you stick with the m24, if you're on the other side, use the m95.

Really, once you get the hang of it, it's the most lethal weapon in town

 

I really don't like the overly obvious bias in this game (middle eastren guys are low tech, US on every map, over half of the base US weapons are better than their unlocks).

I'd like to see more teams

Like German forces, they have the leetest army in town

caste, there isnt a US bias, look at the mec and pla assault/medic gun. its way better than the m16, the US sniper rifle is debatably better, because they both can kill just as fast, 2-3 hits for mec,pla, and 1-2 hits for the m95 and m24. but you have the bolt action rifle for US and semi auto for the others. bottom line is DICE didnt want the unlocks to be suppirior to the base weapons. you should just use the one that feels better to you or is right for the situation.

I got to try the G3 a few nights ago and i was impressed with it's single fire and auto. Realod is a bit slow and i hate the lack of add on nade launcher but i think it will be my next unlock.

G3 for me.

I just unlocked the PKM and simply WOW!

 

I wish I had it earlier and I would most likely be a lot higher rank.

I unlocked the m95 and so far I've killed 3 jeep drivers (1 driving a humvee, the others were driving those small MEC cars) and killed 2 blackhawk minigunners.

Oh, and all those other infantry guys too

I've killed blackhawk minigunners and jeep drivers with the pkm, just shoot into the open windows. I just can't kill the attack helicopter pilots/gunners though

I've been trying to shoot the pilots but haven't got a good opportunity yet (you got to catch those buggers as they're hovering to cap flags)

i shot at a pilot 3 times while he was hovering at a cap point on Kubra Dam, and he didnt die. :|
