A team of guys have rebuilt the old game using a new updated 3d engine and named it TA-Spring, it uses all the origional 3d vehicle and unit models to recreate this classic game. Its quite impressive to see this old game come back to life, and its a free download and free to play with full online multiplayer support. September 5, 200520 yr My house (8 Computers) has been playing Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War. Looks similar but of course cutting edge graphics. I will check this out and give it to my RTS experts. Radio and Mage. Warhammer is my First RTS besides Close Combat a WW2 RTS.
September 5, 200520 yr First game played on pc was C&C on Dos version & after on win 95 with P1 and all next series on win98SE with the very old P2/400Mhz. + all strategics games... First simulator was Flight Simulator 2 and next series too... And after, my son make me knowing you on FA net game = best than playing alone with an AI. Egidio.
September 5, 200520 yr Cool. I enjoyed Dark Rein. Liked sending units on auto search and destroy or avoid or herass while enjoying the music it played.

September 7, 200520 yr Total Annihilation ROCKS! I modded a bit for that game. I was one of the founding members of Total Annihilation Evaluation Crew (TAEC) under the name WhiteWolf. I helped Alpha test Brave Sir Robin's "Uberhack Mod". And created the ARM EMP mine, and the CORE Widowmaker. Lord Orion rewrote the AI for this game to be considerably less braindead at one point, and even created his own mod called "Warmonger". I adored this game Oh.... for those who don't know... Chris Taylor, the creator of TA, is at work making the "Spiritual Successor" of TA is now in the works under the name "Supreme Commander".
