Sig help to take out unwanted white part.

I wanted to add my tigerhawk and my fa menkeys sig together as one file but my problem is I can't crop out the extra white part in the pic, so I was hoping someone who is good with this sort of thing can fix it for me and cut out the white part. Thanks.

First, you need to use a format that supports transparencies. Gif definitely does, and I -think- png does, too. Second, and this is where I don't know exactly how to go about it, you have to use a hardXcore image edittor and set a background or transparency colour. If you have gimp or photoshop, check out google or their online help manuals.

Why can't you just do it this way for TAC forums... easy fix.

So no one can cut that white out. :)

Thanks K2 but that only works for the TAC forums but I guess that will do for here :p

I guess to me it doesn't matter if it only works on these forums --- because TAC forums are the only forums I care to visit. Sorry that my method didn't work for you dood. Glad that DH could help.

yeah i just did diffrent versions for each forum, but gifs had to be used with old forums, since the post backgrounds colors alternated

...you didn't like my method, hawk?

I was trying that and I find that .png made the pic lookin' all blue ;) so I tried .gif but it took away some of the detail :p

But thanks for the help guys :)

You silly. Use irfanview, save as .gif, select transparency colour "during saving", and fin.

Because the transparency colour was white, the attached picture may have some inadvertent transparent bits. If it does, change that white block to some colour not in the picture anywhere, and reupload it for me, then I'll change it to transparent for you.

Merry Feliz Happy Christmadad.
