Artist note: actually my hands. ;)

Thanks for all the props guys!

Once I made a human teleport device just goofing around...

Nice work, bro. In the original design you showed me the hands were more prominent. I would maybe make the hands stand out a little more. Looks like they got covered up some in all of the layers.

But not bad for a novice. Let me know if you need help fixing it ;)

Maybe you should change your nick to 'SigLord' or something.

Practice. Practice. Practice.

I have no college degree. I went to Virginia Tech for two years and actually studied Computer Science (programming). But, I've been playing around with graphics programs since I was probably about 13 or 14. You do something long enough, you either get good at it... or you should quit. ;)

Best advice I can give is look at as much artwork as you can from artists that inspire you. For instance, one of my main motivation websites for website design is www.2advanced.com. These guys are sick --- so that's where I set my bar. Also, as Nadril has mentioned, www.deviantart.com is also a very good place to look at other budding artists.

well, you see...i dont know the first thing about programs that are complex. :| like even the Gimp is complex to me... MS paint, thats a little more friendly XD
