I've been in rent to own for 4 years now... I've been thru 3 companies now as my location get's bought be several different rent to own companies.

 

Now, I've learned my location is up for sale yet again. I guess in having to pay our employees displaced by the hurricane even with their stores destroyed, Rent A Center has decided to close a different set of stores and not pay peaple like me. Go figure.

 

We already have bids in on our store... one company has one of my old bosses that I wouldn't mind working for again. But still... this crap is getting kind of old.

 

Pray for me, chant a mantra, or at least sit on the sidelines and hope. I got 2 kids and a third on the way... I need something more stable and it's time I start looking for a different job. Because unless I get some serious skillz, "Professional Gamer" is not an option. :o

not to late to get a college degree, my dad has been a engineer (he is 49 btw) and he is looking into being a teacher and taking some community college courses.

Agreed. Bus driving was cool for number of years. Now it's just worrrrrrk that makes me wish we had 6hr work days and 4 day work weeks. Those last 2 hrs seem to take soooo long.

 

The more you look the better your odds of finding something better.
