While everyone is enjoying Day of Defeat Source, it seems Activision decided to try and steal some spotlight with a demo of their own

don't play this on the easy level, it's much more enjoyable on the hardest level of difficutly. AI is much better and such

words from my friend

anyone else tried this game? what is the consensus?

im dl'ing the demo now I loved cod1 and from the looks of it, it should be awesome.....

will inform of progress:)

Well.. It was pretty good I guess. The iron sights are very well done and easy to aim with. The AI is.. not to good. But if you shoot an MGer, the enemy beside him will take his spot, which is pretty cool.

It was fun mowin down every. Too bad there wasn't any blood. The game was also VERY VERY smooth with my 9600xt (on low ofcourse :p ) No FPS drops anywhere.

I give it a 7.5/10

well i was set on medium and there was blood and if you liked COD1 then you wont be disappointed the AI was also good when not set on easy...

I was able to put everything to high (but AA) and get awesome framerates

short demo, I can't believe the COD team is using a new engine, everything acts exactly like the old games, and it just seems like a graphical improvement more than anything

good though
