just a matter of practice i guess. i not great with any yet. best with the tiny red dot of g3 i think the gun is, for special ops. even close up i like to quickly switch to it for more accurate "in your face with this" shots.

 

do i read posts right, does the g3 upgrade not have this ?

 

as to voting to like or not iron sights, "i no nothink". i mean, for realism it's there. "aircraft style" hud sight crosshairs mid screen would sure, be easier. i not sure if easier would be better.

The G3 doesnt have a red dot, you must unlock it in the assualt kit.

My thought is I unlocked the G3 in my other name account and I still like the M4 ( I believe that is the default gun for specops with the lazer dot) better. I thought the M4 was most accurate gun. At least I think I read that so why upgrade to G3. I wanna know cuz I have unlocks coming soon and want to choose wisely this time.

Someone please tell me is the spec ops g36 unlock worth it as i get close to deciding on what unlock ?

Iron sights are REALLY easy to use. Basically, everything "resting" on top of the point is dead (Just like real life iron sights)(except with pistols, which are accurate out of iron sight anyway), and if you aren't getting the "hit" X around the iron sight, you're doing something wrong like moving too much or not aiming even close..

 

And why would an M4 be the most accurate? It's a carbine!

And as for unlocking.. the carbines of each army are fine, you're better off saving the unlock for something you need like the DAO-whatever for anti-tank or the Jackhammer if you aren't good with the pump shotguns.. Plus you get a grenade launcher of anti-everything when you aren't using G3

hogan its really up to you and your playing style. i unlocked the specops weapon when i reached lcpl sometimes its good sometimes i prefrer the m16/m203 which is straight up regular assault. I reached corporal this morning and am not sure as to what my next unlock is going to be.

and you'd better start using your 15-years-old brain (???) instead of your 'fap-fap-fap' ending because I've never said game has to be 100% realistic or not.

 

[EDIT PART I] Ripper, I'd like to propose you a truce. You won't comment my posts like above, I won't comment yours. AFAIR I've never carried any personal attack on your person, though I might be wrong.

 

[EDIT PART II] To explain my point. If it's a game and we all agree that there are some 'crosshairs' in the middle of the screen (which is probably one of the mostly unrealistic features ever. IRL I've never seen many weapons with crosshairs in the middle of the horizon showing you where you are aiming. In other words, if you want to shoot someone you need to put a weapon against your shoulder and use ironsight or scope) we should agree that someone might be disappointed that his/ her ingame weapon doesn't have a crosshair 'in aiming mode' but some 'iron sight'.

I haven't gotten accurate yet. Maybe low fps problem with that. I have most success with g36 zoom dot for close to even long range sometimes.

Hogan is confused I think he's talking about the MEC's AK-74U when you zoom in you get the red dot.

OH yeah.....I like ironsights. I can aim better with them cuz they have a good "feel" in my opinion. I dont like the little red dot sights in any game.....those mess me up badly!

agreed they are only better because of more visibility and a definete center point instead of a 10px wide sight

No I have never been able to use irons that well and I much perfer the Red Dot sights because unlike iron sights they dont take up bottom half of the screen. And on a side note: This is my first reply.
