October 1, 200520 yr hey guys, for those of you who dont know wuts going on with Advent Children... well heres the scoop..... The release date for the US is still being pushed back to its basically TBA. but..... it HAS been released in Japan.... i just finished watching a sub-titled copy, and i just wanted to say that IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!!! holy crap.... it's beautiful.... so beautiful.... it's nearly 2 hours long, and just flawless... oh and just a little hint for all u people out there.... the movie takes place 2 years after the events in FF7... :peace: (W9) If any one can figure out a way to dramatically compress a 700mb .avi file please let me kno... winzip wont compress enough.... if someone can help me find a way to compress it... then it's fair game... aka, i'll post a link to a place where you can get it and then we'll all have FF7:Advent Children... and happiness can consume our lives.... lol
October 1, 200520 yr It is a good movie, but I would recommend against posting any links for it, since it would be considered "pirating" and we'd have to remove the link. :peace: Can't wait for it to be released in the States. :peace:
October 1, 200520 yr There are two good things about FF7:AC : 1) Astounding graphics, 2) Sakamoto Maaya (less-than-three). Plot however would require heavy-duty remaking so that all those, that didnt play FF7 would at least not be bored. The movie is... boring, scattered, complicated and has a strange ending. Also fights are too far out in the terms of cheezyness. I was hoping that the good things (mentioned above) would overcome the bad or at least neuter them. Unfortunately not even THE Sakamoto-sama can make bad movie a great movie... just a good movie which is better than nothing. Maybe if Her part would be greater... Without Her US dub will be just pathetic.
October 1, 200520 yr I havent seen it, but ive kept an eye on ever since ive seen in in gameinformer :peace: .
October 1, 200520 yr Author also almost forgot.... there is a new game comming out called FF7: dirge something.... srry forgot the other half... but it's totally based around no other than our beloved Vincent Valentine... its sort of a rip off of devil may cry.. but still a good game none the less:peace:

It did what it intended to do: lots of eye candy for all the FFVII fans out there. And it wasn't bad, as it is nearly impossible to find a copy available for purchase in Japanese stores. In terms of plot, I haven't played the game, but it made sense to me. And the action sequences were far from boring. I for one liked it, and enjoyed it more than Spirits Within, a movie that put them millions of dollars in the red.
