My Sig is Inappropriate?

Featured Replies

Sorry for not responding about it earlier (dad bant me from the comp for a couple of days).

K2 gave me a PM saying that my signature with cartoon blood squirting is unacceptable here. I disagree with this completely. Will someone else please explain why it's so bad? Blood's in FA for god's sake.

Edit by Paladin Ripper will not be joining us anytime soon. Let me know if you see any post with his IP so I can ban those accounts as well...

We once allowed one of our guys to have a scene from "Saving Private Ryan" where a German sniper get's shot thru the scope into his eye. However, that did not have copious amounts of blood... and niether does FA or any other game we play. This pic is in the catagory of "Slasher Film", and I feel it is unappropriate for this forum.

I do not expect to be questioned on this, but I must ask you to kindly remove or change it to something less questionable in a reasonable amount of time.

Hmm, I'm not certain as the the level of inappropriateness of it considering the nature of games we play. I would say however that it is very distastefull and looks kinda stupid. Just find a sig which expresses you. It to be a "Signature", not a bloody cartoon reel!
well, i for one found it humorous. but then again im not calling the shots. id just get rid of it Rip, for chrissakes dont get banned AGAIN  . just listen, i dont know whats so hard about that. its harder to listen irl(imo) than it is on the e-world.
My spoon is too big.

I am a banana!

Yeah Ripper really.....it is a stupid sig anyways dont argue. Not worth getting banned for.

Ripper, firstly if you have a question about my request reply to my PM... DO NOT post it in a public forum. There is no reason for you to bring my PRIVATE Messages into a public room. If you do not want to confront me, private message another admin and discuss it with them. First and last warning.

Secondly, the reasons that I don't want to see your sig are:

A) It's disgusting. We have quite a few younger players that visit this forum and I don't think they need to see it. I don't want to see it. As mentioned above, none of the games we play have this over-the-top gore and I don't want it on these forums either.

:D This sig has nothing to do with the games that we play. Sigs are generally either based on someone's name, game they play or an interest that they have. Your sig is none of those.

Remove the sig. This is not a request.

Thank you for your cooperation.

great, he got banned over a sig

not the best tool in the box

No, he got banned for his response to a request to remove it, and his probationary status do to previous events and bans.

And note, that I was not the one that banned him. I do not have that authority. It was a collective decision by the Senior Council based on this, and past problems involving this visitor.

We would never BAN someone just because of a sig.
