well now that the new patch is out,my account is gone,yay:mad:

i now get a error saying"the uniquenick provided is incorrect" when i try to sign in.so i write to ea only to get a reply that more or less states TUFF CRAP SUCKER.it gives me links to q&a stuff but my password or login for the support page isn't working either.i've had them send me both in the mail and used them perfectly yet i can't sign in and that of course is the only way to even try to ask a question or find a answer.so needless to say i'm am very pissed off right now.

as cool of a game as bf2 is,it is also more hassle than steam was.i never once lost my account with steam or get a update that made me have to reinstall cuz opps it's was a bad patch like the first patch for bf2 was.so don't be surprized if you guyz don't ever see me in bf2 any more cuz i just put months into my profile only for them to patch the game and ruin it.

That sucks dude. im sorry to hear that. weird that the account is just gone. but since it is easier to rank up now. you could start a new account and probbaly get to where you were before in a night or two. just thought id let you know.

You can't mean that. Who will i play with in the wee hours of the morning. or even early afternoon before i go to work. and who will i talk to about the packers and how they suck,(kidding) and besides with the ranks like they are now you'll be sarge in no time.So please don't go.

I'm waiting for the post that tells me the v1.03 patch is actually causing my motherboard to melt and release radioactive isotopes into my house that are slowly causing my wife and I to develop cancer. Uninstalling will not help. Chemotherapy will not help. We apologize for the inconvenience, but you and everyone in your house is going to die. We do hope that you continue playing Battlefield 2 in the meantime and we do hope to resolve the problem in the v1.04 patch. Give it time, their account servers have been overwhelmed, my guess is that all will be well soon. Personally, no issues here with the patch, and with the limited time I had last night to play, liked most of what I saw.

sorry to hear that. so far 99% of people been okay. mine was fine. tiger had to remove and reinsert bf2.exe for firewall allow list. could your hard drive be badly fragmented, causing the files of your account info to get messed up ?

 

anyone know of such a file ?

 

maybe try creating new accout, if that works, i think your original acct data file got messed.

and i didn't say anything about a system i said the patch sucked,cuz well for me and a lot more it did.to the rest of you lucky ones that got to keep your profile and go on to get 3 or 4 new unlocks in the last 2 days good for you,i'm sure it must be nice:mad:

aw,thx dood:p but i should have my pkm back tonite meh thinks:D

 

then all will be well,i was only half way to my next unlock anyways,it all the badges/metals/ribbons i took the time to go out and get that i'll miss.

 

i know for some it might only take a few days or less to get back,but it took me a lot longer:o

 

anyways now that i've had the chance to play the new patch,it's got some ok things.and of course still some things that shouldv'e been changed not changed.

 

and new problems that weren't there now are(such as peoples profiles going by by)

 

but still having fun so that's what counts;)

ok ok then.look maybe at first i was just pissed and rightfully so. but i'm calmed down.

 

and of course i don't play games for imaginery stuff,but it still doesn't make me feel any better about the time i put into getting them just the same.

 

i guess when one of ea's brain storms kill your best or fav. account you'll understand better how it feels.just a game?of course.

 

i have way more things to deal with irl then to be hung up on some game.
