October 13, 200520 yr does anyone else experience the following problem? when i open bf2 and after 'connecting to server account' message, a game automatically starts connecting to the server with the lowest ping- regardless if it's in my favourite folder or not (in fact, it adds that server to my favourites). it takes lots of time to connect and it's highly annoying because I don't want to play that server. Is there any way to disable it? BTW: is there any way to disable: 'ea challenge everything' logo and dice's logo? The very next time, I'll hear 'challenge everything', i promise i will throw up....
October 13, 200520 yr when installing the game 2 icons were created one called bf2 the other connect to internet game or the like just use the one called battlefield2

If its hard-coded and there is no in-game-menu option, then You will have to keep throwing up.Otherwise there should be some crappy file called config(or something to this idea).cfg or ini. Look inside and have fun. I have edited few games this way.
October 13, 200520 yr heres what you do Bounty. goto your EAGAMES/BF2/mods/bf2/movies and then rename the ones called: EA, Dice, Legal, Welcome, and Intro. what i did was put my name infront of them so i dont forget which is which incase i ever have to change it.
