October 16, 200520 yr Hey guys! I don't usually register to an forum to express my disgust with admins, but tonight I had to. I'm a admin for a server myself in U.T. 2004, and I like to think very fair to all. But, tonight I was playing on your server, and saw very bad, uneeded use of admin rights. At about 1:15 am, I was playing on your server which I like very much. I was kicked by an admin, for no reason. I had no team kills etc. The only thing I can think of was that I was sitting ACROSS the river from there base spawn camp, engaging enemies as the came out of the base. I was not camping inside the base or directly outside the base. I left plenty of room for engagement from the enemy. I must have killed the sad admin several times because he then kicked me. Guys I'm a professional admin, and was interested in playing you guys in a match. But if this is the caliber of admins you have, then maybe not!. That was very poor form, whomever you were. And, for the others in your clan that are pro's, I have they have you removed. Sorry, I put a BF2 butt whoppin on you. If thats the way you treat decent players, then peeps want play on your server long. For all you others players in the Armory clan, I salute you. I noticed some great players, but atleast one very sad Admin!

October 16, 200520 yr Author No, the message that came up, said kicked by admin!. I tried to get on serveral other times and it said the same thing. The admin knows who they are, but I didn't pay attention to who was playing. I'm still banned at this time.
October 16, 200520 yr hmm.i've been on most the day,never noticed anything nor did i personally kick anyone.not sure who could have or might have.i'm sorry that you were kicked.as to why or how as i've said i never noticed this happening to you or anyone.but i assure you we here at TAC aren't in the habit of randomly kicking people for no reason.it's quite possibly a miss understanding.please feel free to return,as we look forward to meeting new gamers as well as seeing the more frequent players. again sry. k_t
October 16, 200520 yr i checked the logs and ther wasnt anything about u being kicked unless u were raptor2k5 who was kicked for teamkilling. we are looking into the matter. you might have been kicked to make room for members. on a side note did u visit ventrilo? we can discuss this on ventrilo if you want at a later time.

At least one of those kills were via arty fire. I even killed my squad member named: K-Town ( ) on Gulf of Oman. The last wictim has a red name and was jumping like a madman in front of me shooting so I tried to calm him down. BTW: AFAIR there was a person banned for the teamkilling and stealing friendly vehicles.

October 16, 200520 yr Its said i was kicked by admin before, but it always says "Kicked by admin or because of a kick vote" but thats what it says if you get kicked for high ping also =). EDIT: Also, your attitude is not the best for not wanting back in, when you dont even know if it was done on purpose :/.... Or maybe you were cursing?
October 16, 200520 yr yeah, cussing and ticking other people off(via teamkilling or vehicle stealing) is not allowed at The Armory. our admins will most likely discuss this. too bad Gator isnt here right now, as he probably would have had a quick and reasonable response about this. hope to see you unbanned, as long as youre not Raptor2k5.
October 16, 200520 yr It might have beeen a PB kick, ive been kicked a few times by PB, when i was on a half full server with a positive score, and had the admin/vote kick message come up. It's probly just one of eh bugs in the game... I can assure you that we dont kick/ban people randomly.

October 16, 200520 yr I was on earlier last night and kicked Raptor whatever his name is. He killed my squadmember constantly and he was on our team. Ramming him wiht planes etc. That is all I know of. We don't just kick people becaue they are good players. You weren't spawn camping either so probably a bug. I've been kicked myself for no reason. Sorry about the misunderstanding.
October 16, 200520 yr Yeah raptor2k5 placed C4 on all our vehicles at the start of Wake Island. I had to take him down before he killed us all. Not to mention shooting at me, throwing grenades at me and trying to smash me with the black hawk...
October 16, 200520 yr Also just on a side note If you get kicked from the server (be it auto kick for TK or other reasons) it will always say you have been kicked by an admin. That's the only message BF2 will give. So you can't deduct from this what happend. As far as I know these are some of the reasons to be kicked... o TK (after 5-7 automatically) o Idling (not sure for how long, happens automatically) o To make room for clan members o High ping (not sure how high, probably over 200, happens automatically) o Vote kick o Violating server rules Again all these will state that you have been kicked by an admin even though half of them are automated ones Just wanted to point that out, [DIAL]Doc

October 17, 200520 yr Author Maybe the auto message saying it was admin was the problem. Its no big deal, it was just kinda odd cause I was outside of a locked base. No, it wasn't cause of cursing or bad attitude, cause I don't do those things. I've been plaing in clans for many years, and I'm a gamer from old, lol. I did get on a hour or so later, and played for several hours. I do have another question for you guys. I noticed the rest of the night that two different teams were always on the same side, never loosing because of it. I got switched many times while leading in kills etc. to the other team, and when I checked the teams, I was replaced with one of the two clans. Or, one of the other players that wasn't wearing a tag, but was always on that side. Others, said something about it as well. Do you guys switch people around when guys you want on a particular side come in to play. It sure looked like it last night. I've never seen the same people stay on the same side, and actually see peeps swithced when both sides are full. It sure made for some bad game play. I like your server, but this was an observation I noticed last night. Thanks guys and see ya on the field!
October 17, 200520 yr actually we wouldnt switch people to get all our clan members on one side. we would want to but it also gives us a better time trying to kill each other. its usually auto balance that does that. normally we wouldnt switch people teams unless autobalance is messed up.

October 17, 200520 yr Agreed. We never team switch so that we can be on the same side. Not only does it make us look bad, but it isn't very good practice for us as a clan. I believe that I speak for most everyone when I say that we play on whichever side we spawn on (even if it's the losing team). TAC really is about commaraderie and gameplay. We want everyone to have a good time and are not going to put ourselves on some kind of virtual pedestal to ensure that we have fun and no one else does. Thanks for the observations though. It's people such as yourself (willing to speak out) that make the server what it is --- and better. Oh, and welcome to The Armory forums! :o
