October 16, 200520 yr Well, for the first time ever in BF2, I was playing on a server and the sqauds worked as one! We each had a job, It was Karkland and the map had just started, we were americans and we had alot of players, and full sqauds. Alphas job was to secure the train station, and defend it for our Charlie Sqaud: Whom was to go around back to the place with all the arty and stuff for the MEC , it was a stealth operation, so firefights were to be avodid if possible, but they were free to blow up everything (arty Scaner etc.) Ahh my sqaud, Gamma we got the fun part, i was playing sniper up on a roof top, I hid so that the opposing forces couldnt see me, i was at the first MEC spawn you see, and my men would spawn on me and give them hell, also they wasted tickets and men while we took the back, then we all fell back to the base charlie has secured, and set up sniper post and assault troops to secure water. This was the most fun i ever had in BF2, i suggest maybe we try it some time

So I been mostly lone-wolfing it so to speak, when I can even get into that.
October 26, 200520 yr Yup, well from the hours I've played, its goes like this. The team with the best teamwork will win, everytime. Even if its only a little bit of teamwork, as long as the other team as none, you win. I was playing last night and when we had some really good teams there were 4-6 per squad, and we were just roaming flag to flag capping and destroying everyone in our path. My squad had 2 medics, 2 support troops, 1 Spec ops and 1 sniper. the medics would hang back and cover the feild, the support troops would lay cover fire while the Spec ops and sniper got the flags. If a medic was killed I would grab their kit to take his place (I was support) until they got back. Its nice to get the "assist" points and capture points, but if your team loses does it really matter how many points you have? Then after some odd "kicking" I had to sit out for nearly an hour, when I finally got an open slot the teams had thinnned out quite a bit and there was 7 squads, with 1 or 2 people in them. We got owned bad for a few maps until I finally typed enough that people joined the same squads again. Perfect example: Tv station map (sorry, I dont even know the map names, dont really care) I was a sniper on the alley roof, I watched as the MEC team came in 2 boats, fully loaded, unloaded on the beach and ran along the fence. I took out 7 people out of the 12 before they got to the back door, but they still took the flag with ease, and still won the map. The 2nd time through we had squads set up to defend. This time I took about 4-5 of them, but the assault squads took the rest, they lost badly. ok well..neways.
