October 23, 200520 yr Spent the past few days there REALLY wishing I had a digital camera. Through Phoenix, up to the Grand Canyon, returned to Phoenix through Flagstaff and Sedona. Absolutely beautiful country there. Lucky for me friends did have cameras, so when i get the pictures, ill find somewhere to post em for everyone to see. :peace: I saw sunset and sunrise at the south rim of the canyon, completely in awe at the wonders of nature. I could have spent a week there just hiking around or through the canyons, it is just amazing. Only could spend a few days, nobody could get time from work. Sedona was pretty cool too. I need to make a trip like that again sometime.
October 23, 200520 yr Arizpwned. Glad you had a nice trip. Nature's wonders blow away anything that man has made that's for sure.
October 24, 200520 yr I grew up in Arizona, I lived in Phoenix, Snowflake, CampVerde, and Phoenix again. Each place about 4 years. I joined the military and left in 91. I have hiked the Grand Canyon 2 times, it is awesome, if you ever get a chance to hike it I would recommend it. When I lived in CampVerde, (which is about 15 miles from Sedona) that area is unreal. I used to ditch school and go to Sedona in the warmer months and go swimming at Grasshopper Point. Very cold water but clear. The only thing bad about Arizona is everyone is moving there in droves to get away from the high rent districts of Californa and driving the cost of living up to unbelievable prices. There is no way I could afford to move there now and have the same comforts I have now. $300,000 for a fixer upper is rediculous. Don't get me wrong I miss it, it has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
October 24, 200520 yr Nice to see you Rancid. Any chance of you getting Battlefield 2 to work on 56K?
