Ok. This is a story I erm....overheard. I was sitting in a local restaurant and there was this group of like 8 punkish-goth people sitting at a table near ours. The people I was with werent saying anything at the moment and I couldnt help but listen in on the other peoples' conversation. Im glad I did cuz this is a story I wouldnt have wanted to miss:

 

Ok. One of the guys did this when he was a little kid.

 

He was playing with his cat and holding it over the fish tank and teasing it by letting it swipe at the fish but never get the fish. The cat squirmed and he dropped it into the fish tank on accident. He knew his mom would be really mad so he needed to dry the cat off. He put it in the microwave to do it.

 

The cat exploded.

 

I know thats gross and sad, but I cant help but laugh really hard at that story.

That is terrible. I see no humor possible no matter how I look at it. That person should work for the Animal Society for awhile, helping animals, to somehow make up for that sorry mistake. To alteast get it off his conscience, if he has one. :peace: But I understand you're just sharing what you heard. On a positive note, maybe someone young and unknowing reading this will be more careful what he puts in those dangerous microwaves.

i heard a simalar story.

 

and elderly couple would let their cat sit in front of their oven, open the front door and turn it on low so the cat wouldent get burned. one day the oven died and they replaced it with a microwave. welll they thought they could do the same with the microwave and well you know the rest.

i work in a kitchen and we have industral mircos (nukers) and on slow nights we stick all sorts of stuff in there to see what happens....never animals though? well i don't do it so much now but when i first started in the kitchen life :peace:

try a CD i swear it doesn't hurt the oven the CD on the other hand.

I'm gonna stick my BF2 disc in my microwave if people don't stop Punishing for teamkills while that bug is still in the game.

You have to remember that the guy was just a little kid when he did this and obviously was just trying to help the cat. Its just funny that his first idea would be to stick the cat in the microwave and not just get a towel and dry the cat off himself. And yes, the funny part is just the stupidity of the kid.

im glad they taught me in elementary that microwaves heat things from the inside out...

i didnt find that story funny at all. I like kitties...but thats not why its not funny. It's just dumb, everyone knows that you cant put a LIVING animal in the microwave. Honestly, i hate people

That is sick and definitely not funny. Putting any living thing in a microwave is sheer stupidity. Regardless of how young the kid was. If you want to experiment, then try with something that isn't living and breathing. Like a marshmallow.
