I have bought something with some stuff. not counting the price of that AP (Armor Piercing, steel core) ammo (yes that yellow box says lead core... why does it stick to a magnet then? I got $700 of stuff for $300 from a friend, just came off the boat after the ban was lifted. yes the scope is not the right one for this but it was free, its a Dragunov scope, 6X night time illuminating. I plan to get a 40mm red dot sight. came with a lot of cool things, including two 30 rnd mags ( who uses 5, 10, and 20?) has a Galil style folding stock I plan to buy a Galil style hand guard with rails, putting a vert grip on the front. it is 'unrapped' no stripping or anything it's an original manufacturer weapon from Romania.

That yellow box came from Russia, says lead core, lead doesn't have a magnetic pole, this box does AP rounds!

Full-Auto or just Semi? Anyways sweet rifle and silver finished scope. Now all you have to get is an SVD and put that scope on it.

Has to be Semi but they can or should be able to be converted. I fired one from China that was converted. It has surprisingly little kick. Looks worse than it is in otherwords. If you shoulder it, lean forward, and burst it. It is very easy to control and keep on target. Gotta remember it is 7.62mm.

 

I like the bayo. Good ole FA 6.0 days.

Oh Finner. The Copper Russian rounds may be copper coated steel jacketed lead core.

 

Take a round and hacksaw the bullet in half. It is safe to do so.

yes, they can, but if you get caught with a converted weapon or even the implements to convert...just remember that felons cant own firearms

the russian and chinese ammo is steel core, that yellow box of "gold tiger" stuck to the magnet but i havent opened a round up. i've shot them before just never owned one. that US Army manual says it will do 40RPM on semi... i emptied 30 rounds in less than 5 seconds last time i shot, that was 5 years ago (paintball has brought that to about 23-24 rpm). it's a semi, autos are illegal in Delaware. the whole thing was $300 (not counting the ammo). I would love an SVD.... they are costly though

Beautiful gun, I'm rather jealous. I plan on buying an M4 sometime--My father and I want one. It'd be nice just to have.

 

You know, I saw this site that would let you buy a fake gun and movie blanks for $50. The gun was real weight--so no plastic crap--and actually had some nice kick. I know this because a friend of mine has one.

A friend of mine goes out to this place in the country where his friend has a dragunov sniper rifle. He said just give him a call and we can go shoot it. Gotta go soon.

That is beautiful. One of my friends has one that is fully auto. His dad brought it over from Syria cuz he was in the Syrian military for while. I got to old it once.....it was awesome. He said that he has shot down a couple of trees with it out on his land

years ago (20 +) after watching predator, a few of my dads freidns went out side i ntheir back yard and emptied close to 10,000 rounds. non stop. one of them was also the one who keep his ar in his locker at school after seeing Red Dawn. They've been known to clear some trees

I hate AKs. M16/M4s are better.

lol sam dont knock it till you try. M4's/M16s are more accurate at higher rates of fire, but id rather (if i had to) use a 7.62 on someone over a .22 (or 5.56) in any case, sam go look up the prices on those.... i dont have $1000 for one yet. I am also in college so paying for stuff..... isn't fun

m4/m16 also need to be cleaner to operate. AKs.... beat em up shoot them up burn them... they still work

Yup one of my friends said who is a big war buff said that you can pour sand all over an AK and put it in the chamber and the gun will still shoot. So AKs are durable as hell but not as accurate as m4/m16

my dadand his friends, with their infinite knowledge.... put an AK on the range as a target... then opeed up on it. went out and got it.... put a mag in and it was just as it was before... just a few holes in the wood

No no, sorry. I wasn't saying it's not cool to have an AK. For piercing, it's a very viable resource. I just meant I was partial to M16/M4 design. The AK Just looks too.. wooden? Maybe if were made of plastic like the M16/M4 or just painted black I'd like it more.
