June 25, 200322 yr i recently unzipped and pasted all new player and weapon models into the respective model folders after cutting default ones out and placing them in another folder. firearms will no longer function. i get to the initializing and downloading screen of the console and it freezes. my netscape send window opens, i hit 'don't send report' and everything closes on me. i would very much appreaciate assistance. not my first time with model 'installation'. but first crash. did experience one tainted file while unzippng with pkzip but the program said it corrected errors and saved as another file called 'pkfixed'. i extracted its contents and pasted it into the correct model folder. please help.

Uzi, Since you saved your old folders, I would put them back and have it overwrite all the modified files. Next, run FA and see if it still freezes. If so, then one of the primary files got corrupted and you will need to re-install FA (HL should still be fine). Then 1 at a time, put a new model in and see if FA will run. The problem is that you have made, by your own account, too many changes for us to narrow the issue down to a specific issue.B-Cell
June 25, 200322 yr If u want good player models that are easy to tell between get bcells that are in the download section they work good for me and there pretty good.
