December 25, 200520 yr Well, I got a new camera for christmas (all I realy wanted) and i've had a chance now to test it out. We couldn't get my brother outside to skate because it was wet, so we did it in our basement. So arguably , they will be much better outside than inside. anyways, heres two of the photos, curves+brightness/contrast edited in photoshop slightly. http://img479.imageshack.us/img479/9963/samkickflip9ue.png http://img479.imageshack.us/img479/8607/samollie8cv.png Still working with the camera settings, I used custom settings for both of these. I think Shutter speed 1/1000 (was motion) and F at like 6.7 or 8.
December 26, 200520 yr Nice job. Nice thing about digital is mistakes don't cost much of anything. Just a little battery power.
December 26, 200520 yr Author Nice job. Nice thing about digital is mistakes don't cost much of anything. Just a little battery power. Yeah I had plenty of mistakes. Haven't realy used a camera much since I took a photography class back when I was a freshman lol. Just remembering stuff about shutter speed / F stop and such. I noticed that the floor of the basement is fairly messed up, but tomorrow I should be able to test it outside .
December 27, 200520 yr Nice. That's what I said a lot of Christmas Day. Some were comments, some were nice requests, j/k.
December 27, 200520 yr If you print. Most Cameras above 5mp out do todays printers as far as normal print sizes. That is unless you go extreme and print at 11"x14". Then you will need as much MP as you can afford.
December 27, 200520 yr If not I Highly recommend this one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16828102174 Reason being is its refillable ink wells. Drill a small hole in the inkwells. Use a syringe to put the ink in. Put a little screw in the hole. Voila. Cuts your ink cost down to nearly nothing. Easy as pie too. This is a geat Printer for the money. My Mom and GF have one. Great Photo quality. Fast too.
December 28, 200520 yr Author My printer I have is fairly crappy. I'll think about getting a printer, but not right now, as I have no money.
