Hewyt guys i have a global score of 2500 points and have the requierments for sergent but it is not giving me the badge, even my progress towards next rank bar is filled, why am i not a sergent yet???

Log out and log back in. Try that.

does BF2 have a required amount of hours played before you upgrade?

Chipper, my guess would be that EA has somehow seen that hair you have. No self-respecting sergeant would be seen with a mop like that. I'd suggest getting it shaved over break and seeing if that makes a difference...

sergeant requires 2500 points and no badges. usually its just really slow, im sure it will eventually give it to you.

i got sergeant right away though.. so i don't see what the slow process is...

he got promoted in game today..so i guess it was regular sergent. We were playing spec forces.

OK, to inform u all i was originally goin gfor staff sergent, then i got that and unlocked the G3, after that like 20 min later i was promoted to sergent! When i got that i had the choice of the F2000, or the next spec forces gun(cant remember name) or the medics first gun(cant remeber name either) i chose the spec forces gun! Just to let u8 all know, thx for everybodys help, except shooters! for all that they did, includoing helping me choose guns!
