All of a sudden today my bf2 is not starting up. I've tried both disks, the bf2 one and the special forces one. I put the disks in and click on the icon, the big red bf2 logo comes up goes quickly to a black screen and then goes back to desktop. Im stumped here, anyone have any ideas.

Reinstall the 1.12 patch.

good idea Mac.. and sharp.. if the 1.12 patch does the same thing again.. try to re-install bf2 again and then re-install the 1.12 patch as well too.

i did get it too work but i didnt install the patch again, i think there were too many accounts logged on at once. I went to everyone elses account in my family and logged them off and it worked. But then when my bf2 crashed to desktop it took a few tries for it to get up and running.

Hmmm... maybe there was an account clog..

Defrag your BF2 drive.
