New Version of SpywareBlaster!

Nice find.

My Daughter got infected file(s). She was at her Moms house and somehow she had the MS firewall and MS Antispyware off for some reason. She was using AOL AIM. It was nasty. It got into everything. After a Kaspersky online scan I found 30 items in the main C drive and 15 in the System restore file.

A Norton 2005 System Internet trial did not even get half of the stuff clean. Then it all came back.

MS Antispyware could not do anything as well as Hijackthis and other programs I tried.

As a last resort to buying something. I remembered that Comcast offered FREE McAfee Antivirus, Spyware, and other stuff. I d/l'd it all except for the firewall.

To make a long story short. It worked. 100% clean.

I actually owe Comcast. I am not a Comcast monoploy fan at all but at least they did something right for once.

Mac put this program on there then you must click enable all protection. It also blocks out some porn sites. This along with Search and Destroy tends to keep most system safe if you update and immunize with both.

So far the Comcast McAfee suite is doing very well for her. I believe in the minimal protection for max perf. So we shall see.

S&D did not do squat. That and Adaware were some of the others I tried.

Comcasts suite is really that good.
