January 1, 200620 yr It was very emotional for some people last night/after 12:00am EST at the new years eve celebration at Toronto's City Hall (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). Many people here witnessing this event were either their last one or their first memorable one... One lady quoted, "I have cancer and perhaps this may be the last new years I will see forever..." I gave her a hug and i told her that I wished her the best in the years ahead... Another person said "I came here from Venezuela and this is my first year in canada, it is such an honour to be here and to see such a spectacular event as there is nothing like this to witness in Venezuela" and many others said things that touched my heart. But after having thoughts of what they said.. I cried with joy yet I cried with sadness.. Overall, I thought that this new years was not just any new years but a new years that I will never forget in my life. Happy new years and I hope you all the best for 2006 and the years ahead.. - Kevin
