I recenty installed steam on my computer and dl'd cs/css/dods/ and installed FA too.

 

I have no problem with playing cs or FA, but when I try to play source I cant view any servers; i "refresh" but all it says is "getting server lists..." but never finds any servers .... ever. I hit refresh, took a shower, came back and still no servers were showing.

 

I have deleted my clientreg.blob and both the gfc's for each game to no avial. I checked my firewall and both are an exception.

 

What else can I try, I wanna see wat my new card can do.

Also verified both games.

A lot of the times when you search for like CS servers the filter is set to show all CS servers, If you want to play CSS for instance, you need to change the filter.

or.. for last resorts.. you could always re-install CS:S again

I have done both of those.

 

The filter is on cs source or dods which ever I am attempting to play.

i just logged on to css and realized im having a similar problme. I can't get a single serer to show up, the filter is just set to css and nothing else. Also, my favorites and history was completely wiped.

i joined a game through the desktop server screen and after that it worked ingame, my favorites and history only work on the out of game browser, not ingame.
