February 4, 200620 yr He is so far removed that he is not related that is why the inlaw would apply. We as a society do not say "Hi Cousin In Law". Now we do say Hi Cousin but I would just say....... "Nice to meet you Mr Jones."

February 4, 200620 yr actually he would just be your cousin. He is part of your family now. The in-law only falls under immidiate family members united with an outside family. ex: father/mother in-law, brother/sister in-law.
