Hey, anyone who has not downloaded DOD:S. Do it now. Valve is allowing anyone who has not downloaded it a free weekend trial on it. So you can play it all you want on the weekend and see if you like it or not. I already have mine downloaded.

PS: I think they should do this more often. Kind of like test driving it to see if you like it.

i have it and its a pretty fun game. but yea your right, they should do this with more games.

Well good now that you have it let play.

According to my completed download which took about an hr, after i tried starting it, it said i will have 60 hrs to play it when i start playing it, anytime after noon friday est. until i guess midnight sunday est.

So did anyone try it? Hogan and I can't get any servers Some free trial if you can't play online How can I decide if I like it, if I can't play online but only by lan with myself

DOD:S is pretty fun. I got it when it came out. And this free trial thing is apparently a very good idea because while I have been playing (today and yesterday) I have seen at least 10-15 people say they were going to buy it now (this is in a couple of hours)

Since nobody posted how i'll explain too late that we finally tried again sunday just before it expired, and found the online servers. Problem was we were starting dod:s from steam, then checking online servers and saw none. But with just steam up, click bottom find servers button and filter for dod:s and voila, lots of servers. "Dagnammit".
