Sometimes Good Things Happen

Featured Replies

this is the 3rd place i've seen this..the other two being the WaW forums and Outside the Lines on ESPN.

It really is amazing, cause we have an autistic kid that is the manager of our varsity team (currently 21-0, gonna be on sportscenter next saturday) and it would be cool to see him do that

wow, i wish more good things that that happened to more good people. they all deserve it.
as some of you may or may not know... my sister too is autistic. it is much more severe than the case this boy has. my mother spends a lot of time with my sister trying to get her to adapt socially and so that she may make something of herself in this world.... i am gald to see that this boy proved that not all mentally challenged kids are.. well i dont like saying this word... "retarded". i cant stand when kids are calling eachother retards. im glad i saw this video, maybe my sister will become something like this too...

Now that is tooooo cool!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that SteveO. It all works out for the best eventually.

Thats what i call a feel good video. something that makes you feel good, and sad at the same time. just because someone is labeled physically challenged, doesn't mean that they are incapable of feats such as these. i have a friend whose niece is physically challenged, every time i see her, i'm amazed at the things she does. I too do not like the label of "retard". that is such a cruel word. Steve O, i can understand the things you have to deal with on a daily basis. yes, people can be cruel. hang in there. your sister may not be able to do what this kid did, but there are other things she does, that brings smiles to you and your family.
Good find Cleat, I saw this on TV and wanted my wife to see it as well. Now that you found it, she can. Cool bro.
