someone by the name of j_neutron07 wants to add you to their list don't accept it. It is a virus. Tell everyone on your list because if somebody on your list addds them you will get it too. It is a hard drive killer and very horrible virus. Please pass this on to everyone on your list. We need to find out who is using these accounts. Sorry for the inconvenience. Right click on your group name of your buddy list and click Send Message to all. Copy and paste the message

So, Better safe than sorry I guess?

its a hoax...there is no way that a username can give u a virus...and the best thing to do is not to accept ppl u dont know...

you saying that once you accept them, they can't hack into your computer? I've seen them do it on AOL instant messenger. Hacked in, gave a virus, changed all passwords, etc. etc. Your right, A good rule would be not to accept anyone unless you know them. It's sad that people are so destructive nowadays. If only they used their talents to do good instead of bad things. Oh well, such is life.
You can't get hacked on AOL just by adding someone to a friends list. There are various links that are fake that will misleadingly lead you into a virus, but otherwise you're in the clear.

No that cant happen. To hack in to a computer u have to know the IP address of the computer. without that u cannot hack in to it. and Xfire,MSN,Yahoo,Aim,AOL dont give out ppls IP address.

As Sam.Gen said there have to misleading links which can allow adware/spyware to get in to ur computer and from there on they send the information back to the creator abt the comp..
