March 1, 200620 yr ok heres the deal i haven't changed a single thing on my computer ,now in the last week out of nowhere the game has just started crashing to the desktop..FOR NO REASON I'm just playing along minding my business,then next thing im looking at my desktop,very odd considering this just started,i wonder if its the patch but ive been playing fine since it came out i only started having this problem this week......any ideas??
March 1, 200620 yr does it crash completely or is it just a little window with a box that has no title? if the latter, its Gamespy...

March 2, 200620 yr Author yeah..i guess iit could be worse(not being able to play at all) but it really is a pain especially when im doing well
March 2, 200620 yr my guess is it's bf2 patch and video card/driver related. something more or different the patch has game doing with video card or ram, that works for awhile then something gets or builds up too much, causing the crash. maybe try backing video drivers back one or more if using latest. or making sure video card set for default max performance settings. my other concerns would be ram or hard drive filling up.
