March 8, 200620 yr Author the AC cooler isnt bad. it's running at 41 c and 64 c under load. I'm thinking of swapping this dell case with my brothers extra thermaltake tsunami case. cooling should be a little better in there. After i install the CoolIt cpu cooler it shouldn't be as hot inside the case. I don't want to upgrade the cpu and motherboard until after microsoft vista comes out later this year.
March 8, 200620 yr So, you have it, and its running?? If so lucky you, i have heard of some dell PSUs being propriatary, like they switched a positive and a ground wire.
March 8, 200620 yr Author The psu works great. Most people had problems finding a psu that was 24 pin. most new psu's have 20-24pin adapters.

You got a Dell! I couldn't resist. lol
March 9, 200620 yr its still a dell though. get another mobo and start OCing that chip. single core prescotts can usually hit 3.8-4.0...although, 64C load is a tad high. you gotta remember that all the hot air in the case is exiting via you water radiator, those temps might not get better. just out of curiousity, what thermal compound did you use? if you used as5, you might see anotehr 5C drop over the next few days.
March 9, 200620 yr Baldrik we're talking about the GPU... yea, i see that now. ignore the part about temps...but get a non-dell mobo and OC that sucker =P
