Wolfey Follow these steps 1. Uninstall patch 1.2 2. Install BF2: SF 3. ReInstall patch 1.2 After that the game will work.

March 11, 200620 yr do i need the incremental patch? Yes. I think. I did most recent incremental. I had no probs with bf2 or bf2:sf. "A CHANGE is as good as a REST". :peace:
May 5, 200619 yr well wolfy did the above advice work or what ? tigerhawk had same error as you after uninstalling my sf and installing her own from cd. mine was downlaoded to both pcs. she finally got the 370mb 1.22 full installer. after running that she gets blue screen error tryign to start bf2 or bf2 sf, saying display driver porblem. any ideas anyone ? this ea stuff is way more headaches then any other game in history i'm sure. that's why i look forward to next good game not from them but steam-sierra.

May 5, 200619 yr Author I just did the 3 steps Impact suggested and it worked. I've had no problems since.
