March 24, 200620 yr TigerHawk and I have been sharing the same bf2:sf software download key installed in both pcs here. She found one laying prone under the "Tananbaum" from Santa Klaus. We're wondering does she have to uninstall sf from the pc she uses, then install from her cd ? Or is there a place or places to change the cd key in the registry ? She's put it off for fear that even uninstalling, rebooting, deleting remaining folder/files, cleaning registry, rebooting, installing off cd, redoing big bf2 patch, then incremental patch ... may get errors ?

I have searched the registry and in the application data folder in documents and settings(I only checked there because i remember that some game saved its key there) and I found nothing there. So I'm sorry to say your gonna have to play the uninstall and reinstall game for now. Unless someone else comes along and Vetos what I just said which is what usually happens.
