For the past couple of days steam is giving me hell lot of lag...my ping is normal 350-390 on east coast US servers...and then all of a sudden ping rises to 1600+..I dont know what to do. I have scaned my comp for adwares/spywares/viruses but no detection. I called my ISP and he told me that the connection from my comp to the server is strong and my download speed is also normal...what might be the problem with steam here?? I have tried playing other games online and they work fine... :mad: :)

    I've noticed a little bit of lag with steam. I was associating it with the fact that steams was updating for so darn long. Then when it finished it still was a bit laggy.
