I find this really interesting cause astronomy is something that im interested in

Too bad it's not going to be over the US...I haven't seen one since I was like 10 yrs old :p

What amazes me about them is long ago we thought it meant supernatual messages.

 

Remember not to look at it without approved blockers. People have fried their eyes because the hot infrared rays are weak but damaging uv rays are still there. :)

Why are people screaming and shouting? I mean are the routing for the sun or the moon or something?

i really cant explain that, maybe because its a rare occurence and probably the first time many of them have seen one.

 

the video is still pretty cool though, i like how the corona (outer rays of the sun) get bigger when it goes behind the moon

It is cool don't get me wrong and i beleive when the sun is fully behind the moon you can even see burst of fire from the sun if you look closely enough.

yeah you can, those are called solar flares. theyre really nice to look at through a filter, but you cant look at them directly or you'll burn your eyes
