I understand that even on fools day or halloween or it's eve, or just kidding around anytime, some people don't consider enough the possible unwanted negative impact to others from kidding around. They usually mean well but fail to properly weigh the pros and cons. It's actually sad because such pranks have caused heart attacks and loss of life. Others leave some socially scarred about humanity. And so on. Best you can do is remind yourself they are the stupid inconsiderate ones and be proud you are not.
