is there a way I can use my config from my previous hdd so I dont have to set up all my controls, etc again? I have my entire BF2 folder on my new hdd but am not sure what or if I can use any of it.

if you are referring to bf2 simply install it on the new hdd and put the existing bf2 folder into my documents and overwrite the new install folder then bam its all good...you may have to tweak your vid settings again but controls and profiles etc will all be good....i think thats what you meant

The BF2 folder from your old HD, My Documents, has all that info.
