Well the first time I played online was with Sierra Online back in like 1993 or 94 ( I cant remember) Sierra had a weak gaming community that played card games etc.... as far as I remember. Ever since, I played strictly single player games, untill I hooked up a serial modem and whooped my buddies in C&C and Duke Nukem. I never got back online since the Sierra days, I just played console games with friends, like Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, and any sports game you can think of. Untill k_town came by and seen my half life disc and told me about Firearms. So officiallly its firearms and still is. :p

Mine was Duke Nukem.

Next was Command and Conquer.

I remember my P133 Intel and 32 megs of ram and the 28.8 modem which I quickly upgraded to a 56.6 LOL. Wow, what a difference. Thanks Hogan for getting me into onling gaming. Lotta good times since you got me hooked.

What were your first online games?

"Hey tanks". :p Many laughs back then. Many more in TAC FA server as TBT clan. Many more as admins later. :p Lots of fun and laughs and humouros boasting working on TAC FA stats. :p t was a uniqueness of various players i miss. Including BTD's oy yoy yoy that helped get a alugh from a stressful time. :p I often looked forward to getting home from annoying work for that great release. those window to window over the bridge m79 into his face when he got up ladder in durandal made many a bad day a laugh for me.

Cops and Robbers, Snakes and Ladders, Monopoly, Pong, Asteroids, Space Invaders, Zelda, Doom, Rise of the Triad, Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, HL1, FA...

Like Cleatus, I got my start in a "Racing Background", starting with Nascar Racing 2. Been in a league since '99 and still race quite often. And yes, it's funny how much of a sweat one can generate sitting on there butt, driving a computer.. lol Won one championship, (we race 70%), and placed 18th once in an massive online racing event that had 400+ entrants. Won quite a bit of money and trophys over the years too. Got started in FPS with MOH Allied Assalt, when my league buddies started looking at stuff to do after a race to relieve some stress. Got involved with a small group of guys for awhile who called themselves RGW (Racers gone wrong). After MOH, we moved over to BF1942, then BFV, which is when I found the Armory..

My first LAN experience was with Doom 2 and Duke Nukem and Quake. I loved em! The first true online experience was with Diablo and Starcraft. I enjoyed Command and Conquer but really got into Counter Strike!

Warcraft II, then StarCraft, then Diablo II, then CS, then BF1942/FA/DoD, then BF:V, then WoW, now BF2. In the future I see myself playing another EA BAttlefield game.
