May 15, 200619 yr Okay, I'm going to start concentrating on my badges. Question, Can i complete the badges in SF, and will they count towards my next rank in BF2 also? Oh, and last but not least: Impact and Flipster have to let me kill them with the knife 3x. I need my basic knife badge. I might make it worth your while.

May 15, 200619 yr SF has seperate badges for the kits, so i dont think you would be able to get the regular bf2 kit badges. But everything still counts to your regular profile, score..kills.deaths..hours played etc..

May 15, 200619 yr Author okay, so i'll just work on the basics, and then switch and do the separate badges for BF2 and SF. You interested in being my pin cushion Sharp ???

May 15, 200619 yr Author Your time as medic, assualt, etc in SF also applies to BF2. That is how I'd do it Wolfey. Play SF as long as you can tolerate, this is how I got my SF Vetern badges for SF and BF2 at the SAME time. As for other badges specifically, you'll have play the version fit for the badge. Yeah, the more i look at everything i need, the more depressed i get. lol. But,some are just little badges. I think my hardest is going to be the 6 more knife kills. So far, no takers. Maybe i should offer a sneak peek.

May 15, 200619 yr Expert knife and pistol I think are the hardest two to get, with the exception of the time requirements for some of the kits.

May 16, 200619 yr I guess the awards are intended to counter boredom. A good idea for those that can find the time to work at them. Similar I guess to having lots of free maps to try in FA, as well as the stats, which you had to keep at to keep it up. It kept me coming.

May 16, 200619 yr Heres an actual answer to your question. Yes, you can earn the Vanilla Badges/Ribbons in Special Forces and while your on track for those you can also earn the SF badges on the same kill run for the kits. To get the Vanilla basic Spec Ops badge for example that takes 10 kills in one round for the basic badge then for the SF Spec Ops basic you need 11 in one round. So, while in Special Forces once you get 10 and get your vanilla basic just get one more kill and you have the basic SF badge too.
