Ooooh man!

 

Today I got some dry ice cuz my mom had ordered some Omaha Steaks. So I got excited cuz yah know, DRY ICE BOMBS!

 

So the first 2 I tried with gatorade bottles and just waited for them to explode....they didnt work. Then I tried another one with a large bottle from some pistachios or something a long time ago.....didnt work.

 

So then I decided to throw them. The first 3 worked fine, ya know, the bottles just blasted open, not real loud.

 

So I got one of those tall, slender Aquafina bottles and used that. I was gonna count to 10 before throwing it but then I saw it expanding in my hand at a fast rate so I hurriedly tossed it. It landed in the grass instead of my driveway, so it didnt explode. I decided to leave it.

 

5 seconds later there was an explosion from it that sounded like a real bomb going off. Oh man it was loud. I ran inside pretty dang fast cuz I know my neighbors heard that. Im pretty sure they could hear that all the way down the street. Im gonna go check for a crater now

LOL you have alot of free time. I'm sure a few people's pace makers went off.

Awesome what a great way to kill a boring evening

actually it takes about 1-2 minutes to make one

 

oh and I checked, no craters, but I got pictures of the what the bottle looks like now

now what would have happened to your hand if it went of while you were holding it....dry ice is very dangerous....i used to work in a kitchen and we got dry ice delivered with ice cream....i put all the dry ice into a 5 gallon pale outside put a little plastic container full of water inside it and put the lid on it then i put 2 big patio stones on top to stop the lid from blowing off.....needless to say the pale eventually exploded embedding shards of plastic into the stucco through 4 inchs of polystyrene insulation and very difficult to pull out.....had someone been out there it could have killed them

Ya i blew a hole in an old comp monitor with one cause we wanted to see how powerful they really were cause we might have tossed a few a at couple of parties.... haha. So be careful but there really really fun

I know smash but I had already done 3 that didnt explode when I just set them down, and those 3 had probably 2 times as much dry ice in them also, so I was kinda confident that they would hold out in my hand.

curiosity killed the cat
