Just a reminder for anyone that may have this problem...

 

as with last patch, this patch made bf2 here in nvidia n6600 vcard pc, freeze with black screen, flashing monitor light (vcard stopped sending signal).

 

the ati 9600xt vcard pc was fine.

 

solution this time was same as after last patch =

 

go to C:\Documents and Settings\*\My Documents\Battlefield 2

 

and delete the contents of the \dmp folder, the \logocache folder

 

as well as

 

C:\Documents and Settings\*\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

 

C:\Documents and Settings\*\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\xpack\cache

 

Leave the mentioned folders, just delete any folders and files in them.
