11. When You go into options-video you should now see all settings at Ultra High Detail

12. I leave "VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme" set to 3 because when I set it to 4, it resets all other settings to 3 "High" again.

13. Also for those of you like me, if you have an LCD that natively supports 1280x1024 you can force that resolution via a shortcut command. RightClick your BattleField 2 Icon on the desktop, go to properties, Where it says target make it look like this.... "G:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 21\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024 remember, your install may not be on G: drive like mine, so change accordingly.

I saw that also. I just didn't want to test it out, cuz i had some problems with lag, and with the new patch....... well you know!
funny i was just thinking of going back to low setting cuz i can't stand the warping and rubberbanding, now i know so of you don't get any lag well good for you.But to say it anit there is like EA not admitting to the name bug or the crash to desktop.
i couldnt even support all high, but it would be interesting to see bf2 on ultra high.

I beleive this is how you get your game to load if you are having problems after getting a new monitor. Set the resolution here to one you know your monitor will be able to use. Like 800x800@60 then adjust in game thereafter.

I did those setting, but I didn't notice anything different from before, I didn't see "Ultra High" I just saw High, which I already had my settings at.
the high quality textures no one installed for bf2 so how can u show it?

I think you have textures confused. it all depends on how much graphics your video card can handle. as far as "High" quality textures go, its just setting your video setting on either High, Medium, Low. Most people have them set to Medium and Low because thats all their video card and computer and handle. The other amount have their setting on High everything. That is why people spend alot of money upgrading their system from CPU, PSU, RAM, ROM, VGA, HDD, DVI monitors so they can see the 'Textures and geometry' of the game in High Detail.
ill have to try it out once my 7900 arrives. Im sure it would support ultra high, my 6800 even supports everything on high with no lag.
anythings worth having.........................................................................if its free :( :( :( :( :(

You may want to check this forum site incase you have probs like we had and occaisionally have with TigerHawk's Asus Nvidia N6600-256 mb ddr vcard. It's compatible with mobo agp 4x as she has. But barely performs as well as my ATI 9600 XT - 128 mb ddr also in 4x agp slot. Seems the 6000 series underperform in 4x agp slot and only 1.5 volts at slot.
