Problem with BF2

Featured Replies

Its been a while since I've last played however the game was working...

Before I stopped playing I chose to remove the first loading videos.

Now when I start up the game the flash screen shows and then it blacks out where the videos would start and then I get kicked back to desktop..

Anyone have any ideas, I'm currently downloading the latest patch to see if that will do anything.

Myst

My RF is set at 85

Using 2 6600gt's in SLI

Nope I kept those two videos cause I was still able to play after i removed the others.

that used to happen to me, i really had no idea why. I have to click my sf icon to launch bf2, for some reason my regular bf2 icon acts weird.

Hmmm everytime I try to start it up be it with the icon in the actual game directory or a short cut if I have a window open it moves the window to a different location.

I'm gonna try renaming the movies to see if those even load.

I just remembered something, I just switched monitors and my Refresh Rate used to be set to 100, now the max this monitor can do is 85... Could my game possibly still set to use a 100 refresh rate? If so anyone know of a way that I can change it without reinstalling or using a diff monitor?

When I changed video drivers or card settings, I got probs that cleard up after deleting contents of my documents\bf2\cache and contents of dmp folder there too.
