July 1, 200619 yr Again on CVG you can read about BF2142. They want to create less bugs in BF2142 than in BF2 and balancing is also a big issue. We can look forward to more from CVG as they seem to have a whole series of articles coming up on BF2142 very soon. We'll be bringing you a full report and an interview with the design team in the very near future, but during the course of a very interesting look at the game, senior producer Marcus Nilsson went on the record to tell us that BF2142 will be "A lot less buggy than Battlefield 2 - and you can write that down." Which we now duly have. Nilsson was responding to many fans' criticisms of Battlefield 2, which saw a number of patches post release to fix bugs and exploits for the epic online shooter. Nilsson added that the team were taking the quality threshold extremely seriously this time around and would be setting a higher benchmark in QA to ensure Battlefield 2142 would debut as bug-free as possible. July 1, 200619 yr Less bugs....ya ok. Thats like with the beta of BF2. They said they would fix a lot of those thing, but now they have released a patch that causes server to crash and they have done nothing about it yet. Least they could do is release just a little something that fixes the server crash. As far as EA saying they will do this or that. Show me...then I just might believe them. Just tonight I saw this guy bunny hopping,dolphin diving. Instead of shooting though....He would throw gernades. Just dolphin dive through most of our guys, taking minimal damage, and kill just about everyone. Did they fix dolphin diving? I almost believed it untill tonight.

July 2, 200619 yr i think they'd say just about anything to get the rest of our money,don't get me wrong even with the bugs and there are a lot of them.I still choose bf2 and company for my first person shooter needs i just don't beleive a one single thing they say as far as quality and less bugs are concered.But well see.

July 2, 200619 yr EA is not the developer, and the team who made BF2 are not the developer either. I know that. EA still does oversee everything that is released. So if they allow anything like they did with BF2. I don't really see it being a different scenario. Unless the new team does a whole lot better job with 2142, then the old team did with BF2.
