hey there photoshop masters/mistresses

 

since everyone's posts look all spiffy with the recent influx of new signatures, i've decided to be a good sheep and follow the rest of the herd

 

so, you've all said "just tell me what you think you want and i'll try my best"

 

ok, here it goes

 

first...the faint smokey image of a man...but not just any man, he must be a man of mystery and intrigue...a giant redwood of a man, if you will...with his arms outstretched to legions of adoring fans...with lots of hot chicks too! yeah, and they could be throwing their undies up at his outstrethced arms...and the dudes could throw him crisp twenty doller bills! yeah, that definately sounds like my style...right? no seriously....right? bleh, you guys wouldn't know a giant redwood if it collapsed on your car as you were driving through it!

 

ok, but seriously, i was thinking something along the lines of two colors, solid blue on the left and solid green on the right...and in the middle the two swirling and/or mixing in some sort of cool photovoodoo

 

the blue would have some sort of representation of my beginning, =VSF=....while the green at the right would symbolize my recent assimilation into teh ArmoryBorg...and in the center of the two converging colors would be where my name would go...then you guys could add a whole bunch of cool stuff that I didnt think of in there to totally impress me and make me throw my undapants and crisp Andrew Jacksons you way

You seem to be a redwood of a "teaser". I sense "thin ice". I assume you're just trying to be funny with a more serious question. I'm teasing back, but partially serious. I am open to "jockularity" as long as it can not be considered inadequate for "prime time tv" or "saturday morning tv".

 

As to your "smoke screen effect" of what matters here, the idea of different colors on left and right with mix in middle, reminded me of a septic tank. j/k. In these, the different matters settle/float/levitate.

 

Like a "B52 shooter".

 

Maybe instead of color differentials that might not look great, consider showing change some other way.

 

Butt, just teasing you back and suggesting like a painting, color balance may look better.

hmmm...i was thinking along the lines of two distinctly different elements on opposite sides of the graphic combining together in the middle...and not in that "blue + yellow = green" sense...think more along the lines of the tangled Schwartz in Spaceballs

i know my description was a bit vauge...but if it helps, i can try to be a bit clearer

 

im with gator on the whole "less is more" concept...black background, two different colored elements converging in the middle

 

this, artists, is my poor quality inspiriation for you

we had a difficult time agreeing on the fonts and text effects
