September 4, 200619 yr I don't know if anyone has been listening to the news , but we just lost one of our fellow comrades. We have a guy named Ralph Bucky Phillips, who escaped from a jail in Western NY. He was only serving 90 days for parole violation. Well, he escaped using a can opener through the kitchen ceiling. He ended up getting stopped by some troopers, and he shot one of the troopers. Thank god the trooper survived. He has been on the loose since April 2nd. He has managed to elude troopers constantly. He seems to have an unlimited supply of license plates. He steals cars and is very good at it. Well, a couple of days ago, he broke into a gun shop and stole a bunch of rifles and shotguns and ammo. Troopers were surveilling this house, when they received a call of a possible break in of that house. While responding, Phillips was laying in wait for them and shot them with a high powered rifle. One was shot in the leg, hitting the main artery. The other trooper was shot in the side, piercing his vest. They raised the Reward money from $50,000 to $250,000 dollars today. In the mean time the trooper who was shot in the leg, had to have his leg amputated. They just announced tonight that he died shortly after surgery. Please pray for the family of the fallen trooper. Apparently he has a vendetta against the troopers for arresting his family members. We all know now that this man is not going to go out quietly. I fear more lives will be lost or people injured before this man is stopped. I pray they get a hot tip on him and he is stopped so no one else will be hurt or killed. This man's ex-wife and daughter live around the corner from me. He has been seen in our town and other areas close by. September 4, 200619 yr Please pray for the family of the fallen trooper. Done... Sorry to hear what is going on up your way. There are some crazy folk out there who seem desperate enough to try anything! Wow!
September 4, 200619 yr what is this world comming to. It is very sad that these things happen and I wish there was something we could do to stop this kind of thing from happening.
September 4, 200619 yr Very sad to hear the news Wolfey. My uncle is a Sheriff in Arizona, I have a lot of respect for law enforcement because you all put a lot on the line; obviously not for the money but the desire to make this world a better place. Thanks for doing what you do and I will certainly prey for the fallen officer.
September 4, 200619 yr It is tragic that while one person is doing their duty to keep our local cities safe, their lives are constantly in danger... I will be keeping the fallen trooper and his family in my prayers. Same goes for you Wolfey, I'll be praying that you are always safe. I have much respect for anyone working in the police force. I may not always like certain individuals but I still hold them in high amounts of respect. May Bucky rest in peace.

September 4, 200619 yr This is the guy that broke into my familes farm when he was in Harpursville a month or two ago. He shot a trooper and stole his car. Ended up abandoning it 1 mile from my mothers house. Then a huge manhunt was centered around the town. My parents went over to the farm one day and noticed windows broke and food had been stolen. They called the FBI and Troopers. Turns out it was Phillips who had broken in. He had left the area and last I heard was further down state. Now he has shot 2 more troopers. They need to find this guy quick.
September 4, 200619 yr Crazy.......can find a guy in the dunes of iraq but can't locate a cop killer in the homeland

He keeps taunting them by staying in the area. We will get him, i just hope no one else gets hurt.
September 4, 200619 yr Yeah, He's pretty good at surviving in the woods and living off the land. Of course, no one locks their doors back there cause everyone knows everyone. It could be alot worse if he turns on the public.
