Whenever I play ps_sanblast I always get a echo. Whenever the map changes I get echo on that map too. Is there anyway to prevent or stop this without fully exiting the game?
I think it has something to do with the EAX checked in the sound options. I am not 100% sure but I will check on it.
i had that problem for a long time, and it got very annoying. Uncheck the EAX hardware support in the Configuration/Audio menu. That should fix your problem :o

I the stopsound only works on things like the door sound that keeps playing. It is the EAX most of the time. I will show you how to fix it you will remind me.

s_eax 0 :> requires a restart of HL, may want to add this to y our config.cfg too
i remember i had that problem. it went away one day. it was weird. o well
since we're change to the new server, it doen't occurs as often as it used to, and if it does, it doesnt last as long. by the way, i think the new server rocks! dont have low fps problems anymore! :LOL: :!:
