October 18, 200619 yr so now that i've got bf2142 on my comp. i can't play it,say's i need a registration code,of course ea hasn't got back to me.I have checked in my ea profile and there is a registration code but of course it doesn't work either.So guess i'm out of luck:mad:

October 18, 200619 yr Author this file is not on my computer "eagamesbf2142online_contentbf2142_na.eam" so i can't find the code there.and i uninstalled the beta/demo already but the game was installed on my computer when i got home from work .
October 18, 200619 yr I'd try to remove/rename all folders related to BF2142 (demo, beta, or othewise), then redo the EA downloader deal. Should say download, then after it's done, should say "install"? I know when I first had mine purchased, I looked at the downloader, and it said, "play" and I hadn't downloaded anything, and it only was like 2 min between buying, and supposedly being able to play. I uninstalled the beta, and renamed the BF2142 folder in "my documents" to BF2142beta (where the profiles are stored), and then restarted the downloader, and then it said "Download" which took about 1 1/2 hours, and then it changed to "install"... October 18, 200619 yr OK K town this is what you need to do. 1. When you purchased your game they sent you a confirmation, go to that e-mail and click on "edit account information". 2. Sign in 3. click on "my games" 4. This page is going to show you all the game codes for BF2, however you need to register 2142. 5. Click the drop downs, Platform = PC Game Name = 2142. 6. Click Register, follow the prompts and when you are done registering, your 2142 CD Key will appear under "My Games" Good luck.
October 19, 200619 yr Author ok well just before i left for work i got 'er downloading and right now i'm installing.ok so incase anyone ever has this problem what i did was.... prayed and swore alot ok no i did go to my profile and register the game but what it was and i feel dumb is,i still had the beta so i had to delete it.i thought i'd a gotten rid of it but maybe it was the demo i uninstalled before so anyways.thanks to everyone who tryed to help,it was the post by TDF about deleting any file with 2142 on it and starting over.that's how i found out i still did have the beta installed. but anyways i can't wait to finally try 'er out have to wait till tomorrow morning so anyone around in the 11am-1pm central time,come by so i can add you to my buddy list
October 19, 200619 yr IS ANY ONE HAVEING PROBS WITH THE MEDALS,BADGES AND SUCH NOT WORKING yup, I have knifed like at least 10 people already and my stats say only 1, plus I got 3 pins and a badge and it still says I have nothing....maybe it will show up tomorrow(I hope)

As for the medals and what not, I wouldn't worry about it, my guess is, their servers are probably pretty busy keeping up with all the ranking up and medaling everyone is doing on the first day of release. Give it time, I'm sure it'll probably end up showing up.. TFD

Anyways, games of this size are always going to have "teething" troubles, im sure you/they'll get it fixed...at some point
