October 19, 200619 yr I've installed twice. I have two DVD drives, and have tried disabling one at a time. It sees the disk and I can install from it. Goto start game and says Please insert disk. I can go into the drive and explore the disk, but for some reason it won't load up. Read a few threads on EA's forums about same issue. EA has yet to respond to anyone with a solution for it that I have found. This EA crap is just getting old!!!!!!!!

October 19, 200619 yr How many partions/Harddrives/CD/DVD Drives Do you Have on your computer total? I don't know why a modern game would do it but i can't play older pc games on my computer because the first letter for a cd/dvd drive is F: on my computer.

October 20, 200619 yr Yep, thats my main gaming computer (though its the third system i've had in that case). It's really nice, except it gets dirty inside where i live right now, even with the filters and cleaning them it gets a bit of dust on the front for that low fan. One big downside is they're a lot heavier than a pc case, but to me pretty tough, dropped this off a 3ft high bed and it only cracked in a little 1/4" spot by the psu mounting area.

Glad you got it to work, but you should post how you fixed it, for future reference, in case someone else have this problem and would a have solution to fix it.
November 26, 200619 yr Author I think it was uninstalling Sonic myDVD and all its other files. I downloaded the Patch first and tried it and till would get the insert disk error. Then I removed any DVD program from the PC and tried it again and this time it worked. I have done many other things along the way like flashing the drive and uninstallling the drive. Look like it might have been a conflict with Sonic the whole time. Just glad its working!!!!!!
